... there's a bigger douche in town. Or, at least, there is temporarily. Spotted outside the WalMart on Macleod and Southland, someone from our neighbours to the immediate right...

Hmm, two parking spots. At least it was genuine :)

At first we thought it was a kit, but closer invesigation revealed that it was the real deal. The owner is in his 50's and looked down at us when we were checking it out. He's a total douche- the chick he was with had a helluva time opening the door, but he didn't give a fuck. Got in and waited for her to figure it out.

That wal-mart parking lot seems to be a favorite location for lamborghini countach owners to practise their sweet parking skills.

The reason for the scissor doors is due to the fact the car is so wide... with a car like that, he's entitled to two spots.

BMW drivers, not so much.

I agree. I will admit i always take two spots for my Gallardo.

But i also park where there are lots of spots at the back

Scope951
08-30-2008, 01:43 PM
I would for sure double park, I mean, why risk having some civic park super close to you and give you a door ding.

I would definatly take 2 spots to ensure my car dosent get jammed in.

TorqueDog
08-30-2008, 01:58 PM
Heh, if I had a Lambo, you pricks better believe I'm taking two spots. I'd take two spots where there aren't any other cars, but I'd still do it.

I usually take two spots with my car waaaaaaay at the back of any lot that I go to.

Yup, it was definitly the one from sask! I am guessing seeing he had sask plates. So what's the deal with it? it's real?

Youre just asking to get keyed if u park like that. If you must take 2 spots park at the very back of the lot.

I have no problem with double-parking so long as you do it at the back of the lot.

I don't think I'd be parking a Lambo near the front of any lot.

Yea well, he was pretty much the front two spots right next to the handicap. I still think he's a douche.

back on topic, that was at market mall, close to the back of the parking lot. I actually dont think its THAT bad cause those doors are pain in the ass to open and get in.

I'd be double parking as well (at the back of the lot), people in this city are completely clueless when they open there doors. I've sat in my drivers seat with the window open to have a minivan pull up on the same side and have the door slam open into my car then have the lady come out and act like it never happened.

I don't get it, who the heck drives a Lambo to Walmart?

It's nice car and you want to park it out front so everyone can see it but come on, these owner should take the Sam Malone test for owning a car like this.

i want to see a quad park job. I saw it at the deerfoot casino with some ferarri once.
Thought it was going a little overboard but then again i cant tell you how many times i walk out of a place and watch people open their doors and rest them on the car beside them and then use the door as leverage to get in. Drives me nuts

Yeah, and oversized redneck trucks deserve two spots as well.

By all means, drive your car wherever you want; it's your streets too. But you're not above someone else just because you drive a nicer car. Everyone should follow the same rules/etiquette. If your ride isn't parking lot friendly, tough - nobody is forcing you to drive it.

If the lot isn't busy, and you're at the back, go nuts, but the owner of that silver one is clearly being a douche.

Well for one thing Wal-Mart stores tend to be white-trash central. And 2nd, if you can afford an exotic what are you doing shopping at a Wal-Mart let alone parking there?

What a stupid comment. So because people have money, they shouldn't save it? That's how you MAKE money....save it, invest it. Take your 3-series to Holts for your diesels and leave the rest of us alone....

You are forgetting the Gucci fanny pack.

Newlextasy I hope you are not the tool with the friend who wears his white hat like an asshat that sat in his Gallardo revving his engine because I drove a Cavalier are you?

One guy up in the NW who drives a blue ferrari one night just pulled up into the shell gas station, sat in front, revved his engine a bit, then drove away. He continued onto the Home Depot parking lot, and the esso... Money doesn't by cred.

wow, how many millionaires i know that shop at wal-mart is probobly more than the amount of redneck white trash people i know that do.

Asians in general have a rep of getting rich in Canada. Superstore and Walmart is always full of asians.

Much better than being one of those people sporting your $500 jeans that you really cannot afford but you feel like people will see you as rich.

Hey asshole, I was just poking fun at Wal-Mart specifically, not making any general commentary on thrifty spending.

I HATE Wal-Mart, but I can't help myself from going there sometimes (and I hate myself for doing so... LOL).

Calgary may be different than Edmonton, but up here I really do see more "white trash" (I'm white, so I can say that) flocking to wal-marts than any other bargain store like zellers, superstore, etc. I could make 'other' demographically based stereotypes on the other stores, but that would probably get me in trouble. :D
