New Alarm/keyless or Reorder Remote

Hey guys. I've lost my remote for my very old clifford alarm system. I don't have the manual but I could probably find the brain and look for the serial. But I'm here to seek advice. Would it be more cost effective to get a new alarm/keyless system done or just reorder a new remote.
If I am to reorder, would I just do it through Cliffords website or is there a local dealer that could do it.
Also if I am to buy a new alarm, what and where would you suggest for me to get it done. Command start and range isn't all that important....well maybe command start but I'm unsure still.
