oh man, that is like the worst list of breakfast places i've ever seen! unless you like factory-made hollandaise from cans, crappy meats, frozen veggies, no creativity, etc.

personally i like independent cafes for breakfast (well, restaurants in general, i guess). unfortunately, calgary doesn't really have a thriving greasy spoon breakfast scene yet. nellies is OK, but does not compare to some of the great breakfast places in larger cities.

diner deluxe is good too, but long waits and a bit too 'fancy pants' for me when i'm hung over and want a good greasy breakfast.

gimme a plate of steaming corned beef hash, a couple of eggs, and a bottle of tabasco, and i'm good to go :)

Diner Deluxe is a great place. Those damn lines are the only thing keeping me from going there more often. The French Toast stuffed with bacon/ham is really amazing. They offer a lunch menu after 11am too. So after that, if you are feeling like a burger, the Bison Burger is huge and tasty as well.

Yeah that is pretty much the worst list that could have been made! Nellies sucks too IMO. I like galaxie diner.

Avenue Diner has a great brunch. I suppose that would count. Other than that I have to agree with the others. The choices on the list are for the drunk nites.
