My Hockey Anthem,

Hi All, I have met a lot of you at track days etc. and I post some of my racing vids here, but my day job is music.

We decided to take a break one night from working on the new CD to write a Hockey Night in Canda anthem for the CBC contest. sooo if you would like to check it out and rate us high if you would like to support us, we would appreciate it! thanks a lot!

sounds good, but you really need to make something with more of a melody that you could hum or whistle along with.

That's actually not that bad. A LOT better than most of the entries I've heard, that's for sure.

IMO, a new anthem should be something that will get me pumped up and excited to watch a hockey game. Some entries are so waaaay off, but I think you're on the right track. Got anything along the same lines, but more up tempo?

I think the Calgary '88 musical theme song would be great for the new Hockey Anthem

A clean, nice sounding theme, but something screams "football" about it. Not hockey. Also it sounds like the music you'd hear while you sat on the main menu of a sports game, ala late 90s. It lacks a Canadian feel.

as for the tune. Its so hard to listen because all you think of is the old beat.

You got my vote, but nothing will ever replace the old one...

What I like about yours is that it gets right to the point. Some of the random ones I clicked on, just took forever to come to anything. Your piece still stands out as the most memorable of the bunch.
