Thought this might be fun and would catch on at least a little bit in the next couple days before the season starts.

We'll go every week and I can manage it and update the standings/points and whatever else because I have no life otherwise.

Pick the straight up winners of the games each week, ignore point spreads.

It's too short of notice to organize doing this for any money, but maybe someone here will be kind enough to donate a weekly prize like a $10 gift certificate or something.

Post your winners, and post the total score of the Monday night game(s) for a tiebreak.

Games are due before the first game of the week. So everything in before Thursday at 5pm local time will be considered for Week 1. Edited posts after 5pm Thursday will not be considered for points.

One point for getting the winner correct, one point for getting closest to the Monday night score.

Sorry, just post the winners here in this thread. You can post them however you like as long as it's clear to me what you've done. If you want to post the games and bold the winners, that's fine, or if you just want to post a list of the teams you think will win.

If anyone has suggestions for a site that does this kind of pool automatically, I'm all ears. The only ones I know of do player-draft-based pools.
