FAQ: How to spot 2008 members

With the recent changes to beyond I feel it necessary to write a FAQ on how to spot a 2008 member.

1) Look for terrible threads that have been discussed at least 100 times previously. 2008 members don't read very well and as such cannot pick up on the http://forums.beyond.ca/images/top_search.gif button. Note the bright red colour of the button? It has been determined that most 2008 members are colour blind.

2) When the terrible thread is masked you can resort to seeing a members ID number. Any member with a ID number greater than 44411 is a 2008 member.

The easiest way to find this number is to hover your mouse cursor over http://forums.beyond.ca/images/profile.gif button and look to the bottom left hand corner of your browser.

Remember:
* > 44411 = 2008 member

Did you know?
The first member registered in 2008 was Timpo (http://forums.beyond.ca/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=44411)

Hit the other red button next to the search would be a start if you think you are an 08. If you think you've spotted one, you're going to have to take action and really beat them down and make them know their place.

You have a couple options really

1) Embrace them with open arms and welcome them to this special community
2) Mock them
3) Pull a maddogg

To pull a Maddog: is to tell all of the beyond universe that you are sick of everyone’s comments bringing you down and making you sad and your never coming back, then making some obscure reference to the movie falling down.....which leads to being ridiculed by others and ask if we charged you to much for your soda, over and over again.....

hover over the profile button and see what the link is at the bottom of the firefox screen. It has the user ID number as the last 6 digits of the URL you would access if you clicked on it
