hey the JDM tubocharged celica GT-four
RHD, AWD. Has only 180km on the speedometer
but i hit that pretty easily....i was wondering if it
can go past 180? like to 200 or something, without the
engine overheating...

Why do you need to be going that fast on public roads in the first place?

You're a tool for racing on the streets... but JDM cars of that era are governed at 180 afaik...

Do i need to bring my sr20 to race city, limping on 3 cylinders, and having blowby issues, and whup on both your cars? (=

Your Celica gt4 is a racing machine, it can go 200 no problem.
When you get to 200, take some pictures for us. :)

Bolt down your floor panels really well, if your manifold over heats from high top speeds, they may fall off.

if you wanted to get out of the city fast wouldn't that mean you'd have to speed on a public highway?
Your membership went downhill fast man, you try to trade everyone selling their car your car, you make a lame ass post about racing a delsol and now this. :thumbsdow

First of all I'm sure everyone on here has pushed 180 at least once; if you haven't you're a pussy, so stfu. Secondly I'm sure you're car can easily hit 180 without overheating (unless it has retardly short gearing), even my stock integra can do that no problem. If you want to find out how fast you're doing, just look at the tach to see what rpm you're at, then so some simple math. I'll leave that up to you ;)

I don't think pushing 180 justifies anyone as a pussy, you douche. Alot of us here, have a proper thought process where we take in account how many lives you put in danger going a retarded speed. So, you stfu.

it all depends on what generation of celica to know where your rev limiter is set at

Pushing an older car to its limits on a public highway is definatley not a smart thing to do. However I am relativley sure that more then a few of us on here have done more then the posted at one time or another, hell I have definatley broke the speed limit a few times in my life.

You're a dumbass.

Of course I've done past 180 before, but it was on a straight, level highway with no traffic around. I didn't do it while racing a car next to me on city roads.

Again, you're a dumbass.

It will go that fast.
And I'm sure he meant on a straight flat highway with nobody around. Most people aren't going to go try to hit 200 on their neighborhood road or even deerfoot for that matter. I've never gone more than like 160-170 in the city because you CAN'T do it safely. Self preservation should kick in at some point

If your car has a temperature gauge, just watch that. Also watch out for the holier than thou crew on Beyond. Apparently, every time your speedo needle touches 180, god kills a baby.

Your car is in JDM km's though, so it might be even faster as JDM kms are only about 90% of a canadian km.
