Arby's having some sort of anniversary. Just saw the commercial, looks like that's what I'm having tonight

you do have to buy a med drink/fries though. It comes out to like 4.60 or something like that, pretty good though. And yeah the cheese really doesn't taste like cheese at all >.<

It start around Aug 18th and was suppose to run until Set 14th.

We took the kids a few weeks back....I get ill everytime so I passed. Kids got the deal, hold the cheese and hold the sauce. Just beef (or so they call it) on a bun, and the fries....well they pretty much went to the garbage.

Ever since I've gotten older, I have found arbys tastes less and less like real food. I don't even know how much of the beef is any good. I know my Roast Beef at home is nothing like it (which somewhat scares me). I guess its probably Deli Style.

Any Arby's-Insiders here?

I don't know if this is true, but I heard that Arby's meat is not really meat at all, and that its made from some sort of liquid paste. I still think their regular roast beef is pretty damn good though.

haha I've heard that it arrives at the stores as a fluid and once it's cooked it takes the shape of 'meat'...Not sure if this is true but you're the second person who has said that to me.

Fuck these are gross.. I finally went and tried one since it's been like 15 yrs since I've been to an arby's.. I threw half of it out.

It'll be a lot more then 15 before I go back.

Man... I missed this whole thing.. it's too damn bad that arby's locations are really out of the way. or only in malls pretty much.

edit* after googling their locations... wow.. they have 8 locations in calgary (including malls) and 4 of them are downtown...

I don't think so, their new promotion is the arby-Q for 99 cents. Went on their website.. and no mention of the 30 cent B & C anymore.

There are three in Red Deer. And all of them are owned by the same people. :barf:

Its not liquid meat any more than deli meats are liquid. Ever wonder how the chickens they slice up are always round? Sure it's processed roast beef but its not some gelatinous goo like everybody is making it out to be.

That said, their cheese is up for debate though..... that stuff is nauseating. I'll never eat it again.

99c arby-q's is a pretty decent deal. They did this when they introduced them as well, no?

As a whole, arby's is alright once in a while, their fries are just mashed up grease (at least by the time you get them they are) and their sandwiches are pretty bland, but they are a decent change when you get tired of mcdonalds. I try to make it to arby's once every 4-6 months.

lol like it's a chore, i found their sandwiches to be horrible, so bland and unfulfilling,I could find better sandwiches at the Mustard Seed.. and i'd pay for it.

Even the simpsons make fun of arby's. There was an episode where all the kids got stuck on an island and those twins girls said "i'm so hungry I could eat an arby's"
