Email Accounts on Iphone

Hey guys,

Just got the 3g. did some surfing and i dont think hotmail can be synced with the iphone. is this true?

i also have an email address with the u of c. anybody know the server info needed to receive mail from the address on the iphone?

My hotmail syns with my iphone. Look up izzymail on google, you gotta pay a small fees per year, but you get all your emails.

I tried the forward but my hotmail didn't have that option for some reason. Plus I have my hotmail accounts sorted according to different purposes, so I couldn't use the forward option anyway.

incoming mail server: (IMAP)
Host name: imap.ucalgary.ca
User name/password: your IT/webmail one

outgoing mail server:
smtp.ucalgary.ca
user/pass: as above (input even though its optional)

if it asks u to use ssl for incoming/outgoing select yes....

thats about it....

when jailbreaking your phone does it acutally allows you to be able to recieve emails from other account ie Hotmail?

Is there anyway to set up my work Microsoft Exchange email on my iphone?

I asked the IT guy here and he said he would have to make a seperate profile blah blah blah for it to work, but something tells me hes not too sure whats hes doing
