Looking to get winter tires for my 2001 civic... I got quoted $700 for Nokian RSI's installed, and $500 for Arctic Claw TXI's.

Can anyone input on these 2 brands? I've seen a lot of good reviews on the Nokian's, but I'm not convinced to spend an extra $200. I dont live in Calgary, I live in middle of nowhere Northern BC, so my options are a bit limited.

If you get a lot of snow, go with the RSIs. I have them on my car, and wouldn't put anything else on instead. Arctic Claw tires are decent, IF you get them studded. which should be about an extra 50$

been using the Arctic Claw for 2 winters now. Decent tire for Calgary winters anyways. I was in northern alberta with them and they worked fine. No complaints and pretty good value i guess.

the claws are the low end of winter tires, nokian is the top end. up to you but RSI are a little over kill for our winters, try WR.
