When Wayne Gretzky's and the "hockey hall of fame" articles were run as the featured articles, they got over 50,000 views on their day up from an average of under 1,000 a day.

currently the flames get about 1,000 per day.

this is only the sixth hockey article and second team article (New Jersey Devils were the other) to be published as the featured article on Wikipedia's main page.

Why, were they picked to win the cup so they can be kicked out in the first round again?

Much to the chagrin of their "fans" who only had a week to use the playoffs as an excuse to show up to work hung-over every day?
