Sure, here is mine. Dyno Sheet. (http://forums.beyond.ca/st/225387/163-35whp-and-77-15ft-lbs/)

The 08 GSX-R 1000 is 379lbs dry. Minus around 30lbs for the dual cans I removed. Plus I dunno 5lbs gas? Plus 240lbs for me.

Whoops I was off a little bit. 3.63lbs per 1 WHP.

30lbs for cans? Your entire exhaust doesn't weigh that.
Pull into a weigh station and you'll be surprised.

last time i weighed my car with a 1/4 tank of gas and me it was 1240kg... low est for power would be 250whp, so...

The only thing I had to guess on mine was weight and I estimated high. Me and the bike will weight approximately 675lbs together and it'll make approximately 200rwhp all said and done. I'll make proof later, just posting up for conversation sake...

For the sake of that, what's your ZX6R doin?

341lbs / 118hp = 2.89 lbs/hp :D

You forgot to add your weight to the bike weight when calculating. I'm gonna quote this so we can see whether or not you're a heffer.

377lbs+275(me w/ leathers) / 111hp crizzank.

And in the spirit of pulling numbers out of the air:

9.11 lbs/hp for my A6.
3836lbs + 265 (me in skiv's) / 450hp (my theoretical max hp)

That's what they weigh. I sold the stock cans on ebay, when I shipped them the weight they gave me at the post office was 35lbs including the box. They aren't that light.

so many people with low lb/hp numbers, yet so few people running quick times at the track. :dunno:

Ekliptix
09-06-2008, 03:17 PM
I'm one of them, but I will have a low 12 this season when I borrow some track tires.

None of these hp or lb/hp questions mean much. The 1/4mi # is the real test.

15.6 lbs/crank HP, but that's not counting my stereo, so I don't know. I'd probably have to add another 100 pounds for stereo stuff.
