When you buy a new vehicle, or at least new to you, what are the first things you look to do on it?

Change fluids? which ones?
performance mods?
Stereo?
Visual upgrades?
Repairs?

Check all the fluids, change the oil and the brake pads.

Lower it. That's always within a few weeks of owning it.

Heh, that too..

No, I change all the fluids, plugs, etc. Depending on the mileage I'll check the thing's service schedule and do what it says..
Then I head to Mopac. :bigpimp:

burnout :poosie:

Haha no seriously the best thing to do is take it for a drive, then you'll notice everything that is broken or you don't like, then time to pull out the ol' toolbox (aka wallet).

i hopefully wont have to do any repairs, but if so then ya do that...as far as mods, i always put an aftermarket stereo in first.

my parents have a little prayer around the new cars they buy, just so they don't get into accidents and serious stuff like that.

I check out the features and buttons. I should've read the manual, or parts of it. I found out after 3 weeks of owning my current car that i could open the windows and sunroof with the keyfob lol.

5% tint all around, rims then detail.

Usually when I buy a car, I decide a while in advance on the car so these things are ready to go when I end up buying it.

I just give it a good clean in and out, and maybe fluids (unless its a newer car and you got the records from the dealer on maintenance), then just drive it.....a lot, then comes the mods :D .

Take off the stupid dealer plate/stickers if it's from a dealer.

I fucking LOL'D.

Clean it like crazy, make a list of repairs needed, get all maintenance done if needed.

Can't forget a Little Tree airfreshner.

x 2 ha ha

I often change out the oem deck in favor of a better one.

If the car/truck is used i do a supreme cleaning inside and out. Like others, change fluids and change out regular service items like filters, plugs, cap rotor ect if needed.

Also take note of any things that need repair or replacing and get them fixed asap so nothing bugs me about the vehicle.

Sanitize it. Change fluids, plugs if needed. Put in a nice air freshener. I used to worry about putting in a nicer stereo, rims etc. Now I concentrate more on the functionality.

Take it down around Chinook mall and drive it like I own it.

Then proceed to get it up to 200 on the deerfoot.
