My Windows Media Player is no longer working.

My Windows Media Player is no longer working.

When I try to play files in Windows Media Player (either by double-clicking or by right-clicking and selecting WMP), nothing happens - I have no problem playing the files in Quicktime. When I try to load WMP from the Start menu (I have Windows vista ) there is also no result.

Why might this be happening? (Please let me know if you would like me to clarify anything.)

Music, or video?

If video, i'd rather use this:

www.videolan.org

if music, i'd rather use this:

www.winamp.com

I'm not too sure about why that is happening but perhaps try restarting your computer and try again? if that doesn't help, uninstall it and download a new windows media player, that should do the trick.

It does work for videos and music.

Photo gallery does work.
