I bought my Mustang from the original owner 5 years ago. Over the years I've added some performance parts and it's treated me extremely well both as a reliable daily driver around town in the summer, and for over a dozen 1000km trips to and from Shuswap Lake in BC.
On only 7psi boost, the car made 335whp/360wtq on a dynojet, and 318whp/340wtq on a mustang dyno. These numbers may not seem that huge to some, but once you drive the car you'll realize how effective the large amount of torque is in getting the car moving. It's rare that I'll rev it over 4,500k, simply because I don't need to. The sound of the blower is non-existent and the 3 chamber exhaust is not obnoxious at all.
I don't track it very often (once in the past 2 years), but one night with good air (3400' da) it did 12.62 at 108mph. That's not with slicks, but with MT sportsman pro tires launching at 3500rpm.
To get into the 11's, it would not take much. The stock heads (what it has) are extremely restrictive. Gains of 35whp are not uncommon with near-stock 5L engines, so I can only imagine what this car would gain having a blower on it already. Aluminum heads for this car begin at $1200. A different camshaft would pick up nice power too, but cause the car to be less stealthy.
The car has never seen snow and is rust free. It's spent it's night life and winters in a heated garage. The interior is among the best condition I've seen for this type of car. Both the front and rear seats are mint, and the dash is scuff free. It's never even had the original deck out.
The car comes with quite a few original parts, as seen below in the photos.
Notes:
- This has been my summer daily driver for a few years, so for me to say the paint is without some rock chips would be untrue. As you can tell from the photos, the paint is far from horrible, but I'd have it polished if I were to keep it.
- I was looking under the hood tonight and I noticed one of the plug wires has a crack on it's rubber hood. I'm looking for a spare wire I think I have.
Engine:
-Powerdyne PD10 Supercharger. Kevlar Internal Belt and new Bearings. Same as PD11A internally.
-190 lph Fuel pump
-JBA Shorty Headers
-MAC H-Pipe
-Flowmaster Force II Catback
-Edelbrock Performer Intake Manifold
-Accufab 75mm TB
-Pro-M 70mm MAF
-FMS 30lb injectors
-TwEECer ECU
-Auto Specialties 7" Crank/Blower Pulley (7psi at 5500rpm)
-High cooling 2 core rad
-Powermaster 140amp alternator
-All Synthetics (Engine, Tranny, Diff, Brakes)
Drivetrain:
-Ford Motorsport 3.55 Gears
-Ford Motorsport Aluminum Driveshaft
-Ford Motorsport Cobra HD Clutch (excellent condition, and it's easier to push then my stock Z06 clutch)
-Pro5.0 Shifter
Chassis:
-Maier Strut Tower Brace (not installed, due to clearance issue with new intake manifold).
-Global West Subframe Connectors
Brakes:
-Braided Stainless Steel Brake lines
-Speedbleeders
-Stainless Calipers
Interior:
Dash Gauge Cage
-Saleen Boost guage
-Fuel Pressure Gauge
-Moulded A-Pillar
-Coolant Temp guage
-Oil Pressure guage
-5" C2 tach with shift light. (I was never going to install this in the car, but you can have it with the sale. The rpm was off when I played around with it before, but you may be able to adjust it)
Sound:
-Pioneer 6 CD Changer
-Sirius PNP3 Satellite Radio (you get the installed docking station, but I need to take the receiver since the serial #'s registered to me)
-Alarm
