Hey everyone,
The Calgary International Film Festival is gearing up and will run this year from Sept 19th - 28th.
We are still in need of some more volunteers to help out at the theatres. The work is very easy and actually a lot of fun. This is great way to meet new people and to do something a little different.
Volunteers are only asked to commit to a couple shifts and there are times available during the day, evenings, and during the weekends. You sign up for whatever times work best for you. Most of the time you'll just end up watching the movies! ;)
There are a lot of awesome perks available if you decide to help volunteer with the festival as well! From free food and beer at volunteer parties, to free comp movie passes for your friends! Volunteers will also receive a pass to ALL films at ALL theatres for the duration of the festival!
The beyonders that I've met in the past have been a great group of people, so hopefully some of you guys can come out to help. If you'd like to help me out specifically (please!), shoot me a pm or post up and I'll get in touch with you with details. Would be a lot of fun to have a bunch of beyond members all at my location and I'll do my best to hook everyone up.
Anyway, if anyone's interested, post or shoot me a pm.
