Now these are the euro colours, AFAIK they haven't released NA colours yet.

I'm a fan of the new lower fairing and that red/white/black is teh sex

Not a huge fan of the red/white/blue or the black/white/blue but to each his own.

And a green/black photoshop with green wheels courtesy of Fede RR on 600rr.net

Too bad curb weight is up :thumbsdow

Also, ABS will be available.

That green scheme looks pretty good actually but I agree.. red/white/black.

The cbr600 has always been the bike I've wanted to be my first...Maybe next year...

So how much weight did they lose for 09? It seems like every year bikes get lighter and more fragile .... a standstill drop is enough to write some of these bikes off.

But ya, a very nice machine by Honda. Great for the track.

Now where are my honda vtwins

Wow, I'm really liking the new color schemes; way different than standard crotch rocket paint jobs.

I wonder if you'll be able to do simple stuff like changing the oil without having to pull off a bunch of fairings like my 05.

Bikes were getting lighter - until the new emission controls (cats, etc.) and ABS came to play the last few years.

Rest assured they are still shaving weight from all possible areas.

My next bike will not have undertail exhaust. As much as I love the way it looks, I am tired of having a hot seat!

This bike looks awesome though!

that looks sick...the green and black and the white and blue!

The white and blue is by far the nicest color combo imo

600rr's have been getting lighter and lighter each year. The 07 and 08 600rr's were the lightest ever yet....dunno bout the 09 600rr's.

Possible upgrade next season?

i'd have to try abs before i would buy it. i always felt safe locking up the rear, although locking up the front is scary. sounds like it could be safer, if it works safely

Each new iteration of the 600RR has gone down in weight from the previous generation.

According to wikipedia (great source I know :D ) the weight stays the same as the 07/08 models (341lbs)

The black and green is nice. The other colors look to messy/busy.

is it me or does anyone else think the new hondas have become somewhat more cheap looking? Those side fairings bug the hell out of me. I've always beena fan of big body panels on a bike. its looks good and its funtional but the newer bikes I think ahve tooken a turn for the worst. It semms they are dressing previous years technology in uglier clothes and repackaging it for next years buyers.

love the black and green, and the white/blue/black isnt bad, but they should have gone with black wheels, not blue :(

they are going to have a hard time beating the special edition 08 graffiti in my opinion. that thing was pure sex.
