K, this may sound a little stupid, but it would be awesome if it worked. On high-end cars, or tricked out cars with turbo chargers, people put on nice blow off valves. So when the turbo charger gives off its compressed air after a high rev, the air passes through the blow off valve and somthing wonderfull happens. Now if you know what im talking about you will know the beautiful sound and sounds blow off valves can make. Whether it be the nice swoosh sound, or the a high pitch air release sound or even some that almost sounds like a horse doing that lip fluttering thing. What I am getting at here is do you think its possible to put a turbo charger blow off valve on bike shox? Wether it be replaceing the the current valve or putting them on after the original valve? Would it still make that turbo charger sound when you come down after being 6 feet in the air and all the air is being compressed and forced out of those shox? What do you think?

Holy shit, if I had to listen to "Psh psh psh psh" every time I rode some DH I would go crazy.... The forks would be compressing/decompressing hundreds of time a minute if you were really ripping. How is this even an attractive noise on a MTB? I MUCH prefer the sound of a nice hub (chris king?), and the loud tick it makes!

ya isn't that like the direct equivalent to a BOV on a bicycle?

you'd be way cooler installing a bov on your air ratchet, imagine that.

LOL... boy would be in for a surprise when he hears the woosh sound, then suddenly realizes he's let the air out of his shocks and has no rebound, haha.

i doubt there would even be enough pressure in the shocks to create a sound. I could be totally wrong. Even if there was, as mentioned above letting out the air in your shocks is going to be a rough landing lol.
