so in the morning, I start up my car, and let it warm up a bit, usually 30-35 seconds, enough to get the oil flowing. But when I shift from park into drive or reverse and apply the gas, i get about a half second hesitation. it will start to move, then kind of bog, then pick up again. happens again when it shifts from low to drive with a constant pressure on the gas pedal.

I have booked it in for warranty work, but the service guy said that this was normal. I bought this back in January, and never had this issue up until the middle of july, and it has gotten worse since then. If i drive it for 10-12 mins, the issue stops. Service guy said this happens to all vehicles, but with the exception of an old beater, this has never happened to any other vehicle i have had, or my truck....

any ideas what causes this, or would this be covered under warranty.

What's the milage like?
Sounds like you trans. fluid just needs a chance to warm up. They may just do a tranny flush - and charge you as that's normal wear and tear.
