You could not be more right.
yikes, not much for choice their. You throw down the honda card but leave out thier only sports car of the era, the prelude. that i dont get. then you play mazda and skip the RX-7. And then temp the lords rath by adding the j-bodies to the mix! What the dillyo?
my vote, none. The are either gay cars, or have already done to the max.

okay, something you can buy from 5000-7000 what would you get ?
An Eight Six with silvertop or blacktop and TRD LSD. That would probably use up all the money though. In real life? Probably a RX7 Turbo2 (second evolution). Not nessisarily as reliable as the lude, but more fun i think. Or maybe an old 325.

get the teg i raced every car on your list with my gen 2 when i had it and beat them all plus it looked damn fine and handled great. Koni yellows, skunk2, intake and exhaust and it will be a real fun car. If you want alot of power then alot more money is needed. :) closest race was mx-6 turbo but it was auto and couldnt take me and z-24 which handled like shit and lost it on the twisties.

With his budget(7k) that wont be an option.

I think there was a 92-95 hatch on here for cheap somewhere like 3 grand. Buy a single came with low km's for about 2g's installed and you still have like 3k for a getto turbo!

:werd: You could find an old cheap 240sx, probably wont look good for a few grand. Drive it for a little while, save some more money, throw an SR in it...viola TRACK SLUT. You could probably do a ghetto SR swap for around 4-5 grand, Using the stock side mount intercooler.

Something on the list...the civic. But the teg comes really damn close, just that it's a few years older...
Something that's gonna cost you but not on the list, a FC3S.

Im really bias on the mx3, but other than that, I would take the g2teg or FC turbo:thumbsup:

Yes, I am hurt that there weren't any Nissans at all in this comparison. Cuz as far as bang for buck goes it's not a comparison without a 240, or even a 90's 200sx.
