Very loud banging noise from speaker????

When I go over bumps in the Legend there is a huge knocking/bass/broken speaker type of sound coming from the back. Then if it's really a big bump it'll make that noise continuously for a little while which gets annoying. Could it be a broken wire bumping against other stuff or a broken speaker??? Still running the original bose sound system in it. So its got some years on it.

It's grouding or shorting somewhere. Time to have fun looking for it ;)

well I went to FS and talked to the installer. He told me something without me asking about it that i'd heard from the 2 previous owners of the car...The old Bose systems have amps and they are notorious for shorting out.

Started buying my system tonight. Bought the rears, will go in after work tomorrow for the fronts and then a deck maybe next weekend and then week after that install...Hopefully having a whole new system will take care of that hehe.

Any other input will still be appreciated from people who know their stuff.

its shorting out somewere man the grounds not fully conected or your speaker wire running from your amp to subs sucks ass and its time to change it
