This rumour has been floating around for a while. The thing that makes me wonder about it is the SR20VET engine. The reason why the S15 ceased production (if I recall correctly) was emmision laws tightening up and the SR20 turbo platform couldn't meet the new requirements. With them claiming 280ps they would have had to perform some pretty serious magic with emmisions equipment to make it legal in Japan.

actually, the image might be chopped, but SR20VET did exist....and it is turbo'ed...
they are being used currently in the X-trail...so....you never know? S16 could be coming soon.

That would be quite retarded on Nissans part to have the Skyline, Fairlady, and Silvia almost identical.

yeah it's definitely chopped, you can tell from the trunk and discrepancies in shading on the roof
