Speaker problem

I just bought this van (beater vehicle) and it has an aftermarket deck and probably an aftermarket front speaker as well. The problem is im only hearing treble sounds from it..no mids and lows. I tried adjusting it from the deck but doesnt seem to do anything. I wonder if anyone out there knows if this is just a wiring problem or something else. Some advice will be much appreciated.:D

It wont be a wiring problem. Its most likely the settings on the deck, or some faulty crossover going from the deck to the speakers themselves.
