If I remember right, my first drive was in heavy rain. Car was all over the place and I mentioned it was kinda sketchy and I had to back off by shifting at 6000 and not go all out. So I was just on the verge of being scared there.

My 2nd drive (real first drive) was with Race gas + meth in dry weather where I got sideways in 3rd on a straightaway, I said "ya, it's fast, but it doesn't scare me. I thought it would".

I think I hit 160 on that one haha.

Just pick up a used M3, it takes ~2 weeks to install the kit.

Used M3's are CHEAP now haha.

I'm going stage 2.5 anyways probably next year.

I actually don't get much wheelspin in 3rd even with race + meth. It's because the 2 --> 3 shift was in S6 mode, which is why it broke loose. It's basically a full throttle powershift.

Not that it matters anyways now, the latest software has full traction control as well as gear based boost control, which means even a stage 3 (or the upcoming stage 4 package) doesn't get wheelspin going full throttle off the line. Much easier launches.

Shipped it off to langenfelter (SP?) in the US for some mods.

Twin Turbo's I believe.

Can't remember what the HP was. Up in the 600's at the rear wheels.

Absolutely scared the crap out of me on MacLeod one day.

I haven't gotten in with him since.

Yeah, in the US they are around 18+ depending on mileage.. its just the HPF kit that kills ya! (Seeing that they include install on their price)

Stage 1 and Stage 2 are stock block.

Stage 2.5 is basically Stage 2 with a built block w/lower compression. It's a pump gas only setup, and it makes about 50whp more than Stage 2 with Race + Meth.

Stage 3 gets what stage 2.5 has, but comes with a bigger turbo, full 4" exhaust (it's fucking loud) and a new fuel system. Race + Meth makes about 100whp more than stage 2.5 hehe.

I can't stand loud exhausts no more, so stage 2.5 is the farthest I'll go, unless HPF comes out with a more elegant exhaust system. I've asked, and you can not run the stock exhaust at all on stage 3.

ahah is this guy named Dave by any chance? if so thats my old mans vette... its 700whp (800hp at the fw) and i can tell you that cars scares the shit out of me to drive... you could be doing 200km and it will still go side ways if you lay hard into the gas.. and it has walked away on my bosses 03 hyabusa and many other 1L bike..


And i have been in rages car earlier this summer and even with out alky it ran strong.. definatly a fast car, cant wait till its finished :P
