Just got this car on the road a couple months ago...engine problems and new job/moving is the reason for selling it. Wicked project car. OOP done just a few months ago.
The Good: California Car, Never seen snow, Lots of performance parts including Jim Wolf Technology 450HP Kit, Custom Spearco Intercooler Kit, HKS BOV, Greddy Profec B Spec II Boost Controller, Tokico Illumina Shocks, Suspension Techniques Springs, Limited Slip Diff, Adjustable Cam Gears...see list below
The Bad: Engine needs to be rebuilt as there is a bad rod knock right now, happened in the last couple weeks on the way to work. Needs a new CV Boot on the rear left cv shaft.
The story: Had an 86 Turbo since I was 16...couple years ago a woman cut me off, nailed a curb, wrote off the frame.
Went down to California just after this had happened and picked up this beautiful car, no rust or anything for cheap as the original engine had a broken timing belt.
Swapped all my goodies from my 86 into this 88 and added some and still have more to add.
Couple weeks ago, engine developed a really bad rod knock and it looks like I'm going to be moving provinces shortly and working up north so my huge loss is your huge gain. The parts alone can be parted out for more than I'm selling it. I just don't have the time, space, storage, etc...
This would be a wicked project for anyone who wants to take it on. Its only going to be available for the next 2 weeks...if not it goes away for good...meaning I will store it for a few years until I can come back to it.
I don't expect this car to sit here for very long at this price.
