Anyone here got a RHD car and have Wawanesa for their insurance? If so is it costing more to insure a rhd car or the same as an ordinary lhd?
Thanks

Driving record is what's important, insurance should be the same as a lhd here. When i have my Celica CTR ragtop, cost was only $42 month

collision will change price from RHD to LHD acording to market value or replacement value
but PLPD will be the same between the 2

A little general info on insurance and RHD.
The insurance companies are starting to tighten up. Of the eight companies we deal with, seven of the WILL NOT PROVIDE COLLISION OR COMPREHENSIVE AT ANY PRICE. By law, they have to do the PLPD. The other company will do it, with a 100% surchage to the base prices.
Now with that said, stuff that is already on the books will probably be left alone and there may be an insurance company out there that has not changed there policy on RHD yet......but it's coming.
As for the OP, I can't say for sure as we don't deal with Wawanesa.
