Well as some of you might know i need a new car, and i found a really nice '99 GTI today for $18,000, managed to talk them down to $16,600 so im picking it up on monday night :D

its an awesome car, i wish i didnt have to save for my trip to australia because i would be putting all of that cash into this car, but its gonna have to wait till i get back, and in the spring, its MOD time :burnout:

how many K on the car and what color is it?

everyones goin veedub now...you're like the 3rd person whos gotten one now out of the people we went to school with

we might be getting a diesel jetta soon too....just need to find one for the right price with lower kmz (then...get an upsolute chip and other mods and literally SMOKE the competition :D :D :D)

now...let's see how much $$ in tickets you can pile up with this car :D :D

Congrats on the car bro. :thumbsup: I went to go check it out tonight and it's nice.

Nismo, the car has 80,000 kilometers on it I'm pretty sure (around there) and it's Silver. :)

What generation is it? For 16,600 I'd assume its a Mk3, but you never know.

2.0 or VR6?

It's an MK4, and it's a 2.0 :)

mk4 gti's have either the 1.8t or the vr6

its an mk IV and as far as i know its got the 2.0L in it, i know its not the 1.8T and i dont think its a VR6, its still pretty quick though

Incorrect -- the first year the GTI was 2.0L.
