No clue, but if you memorize his notes from class, you're pretty much good to go.

I'm in Schlenker's class too, 323 and 325.

He seems pretty chill during night classes and tells more jokes than mornings.

I think the exams will be straight through the notes. My guesses would be the eras and the periods, formation of reservoirs etc.

Winter with Schlenker again!

Usually you can spot me in 323. I either show up on time or a tad late. In 325, I usually have Subway.

Hahaha yup, that would be me. Please don't judge me by the way I ate. :)

But yup, worth the walk, especially if you didn't anything throughout the day (busy with clubs week :nut: )

Back to topic, I asked him what he'll test on and it'll mostly be on notes. As he said before, the text is just a reference so in other words, optional! :D

Basically, just read the notes, think about what parts could be good questions for an exam and remember those.

Worked for all of my classes

:werd: Finally I'm learning something INTERESTING. Geology, history & Engineering all in one class?!

What we did today was basically GLGY209 in a nutshell, which was pretty sweet.

I'll look for you man but if you spot me first, just say hey. I'm Don by the way.

Why did I agree to carpool?...

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone who's taking 325 with Schlenker can let me copy the first five minutes of his 323 class?

I came in late and I wrote everything from point C and I only need everything before that.

PLEASE?

Actually, I like it a lot so far. 323 and 325 are very interesting and it's actually useful to me since I want to go to the O&G industry.

301 like you said, is a pain so far. We're doing the utility level/indifference curve mish-mash (or I may have it backwards I dunno) so I have to read up on it.

With practice, 301 will be alright. Hopefully. :) I might go for the Applied Energy concentration actually. Someone in class just told me that you can just apply and go for it. I thought you have to had completed the requirements in order to get in but I thought wrong.

So UPO tomorrow! :burnout:

EDIT

Our class had Hollis so far and he's a great guy but that's as far as it'll go. For teacher, he tries but I'm not a fan of his method. We get out of class early but at what price?

The good thing (if you want to put it that way) about Hollis is that he knows he sucks.

He gave our class a disclaimer in 301, in one of the lectures.

"Just so you guys know, University instructors don't get any training as far as teaching goes. So ummm, yeah. Just so you know."

Kinda worried about that because our midterm is made by Oxoby, which has the rep of some challenging exams.

Hey guys, im starting to prepare for the econ 323 final since its one of my early finals and when i looked back at my notes...iv missed Oct 28 notes which was the day after the midterm and also the Nov 13 notes...I know im sounding like those people who send mass emails for notes but if anyone has them typed out and would not be a hassle to send me a copy then i would be very grateful..

tobslau

Don't worry, no one from who I talked to got Question two.

That one guy that always wore a leather jacket tried it out and he's not even confident.

CURVE FTW!

Not too sure about 325,
but i can vouch 323 can be hard if you don't have any of his older exams, plus you have to memorize a lot
