Looking at seeing the film tonight....didn't see a thread for it yet which surprised me but I am sure someone on here has seen it. Anyone who has, what did you think?

i thought it was a good movie, brad pitt acting like a complete loser makes this movie worth watching.

Good movie, nice to watch something totally different.

I laughed so hard when Clooney unveiled the gift.

The ending is so funny.

Hilarious movie from the Coen brothers.

Very different plot and I think the chaos in the movie and confusion is what makes it so comical.

for some reason I didn't like it. Only a few scenes were hilarious

So I saw it...loved it lots of great "intelligent" comedy the brothers are famous for. Love how the characters the actors play are far out of their norm....except for maybe Malkovich (seems to me he's type cast as a wack job) would reccomend it to anyone

Great movie. I really enjoyed the ending. Very unique and funny approach to this sort of movie.

Some people might not get it, but I thought it was brilliant.

Before I saw it somebody told me that it was basically Fargo meets The Big Lebowski, but missing the best parts of both. I'd say it was a pretty good description, far from their best work. Better than 90% of the shit that gets made, but easily the most disappointing Coen brothers movie I've seen.

I have heard it is similar to The Big Lebowski.

Can't wait to see it myself.

I am really disappointed to say that I thought it was awful.

The first forty-five minutes of the movie accomplish approximately nothing, and elicit at best a half-hearted guffaw.

I wouldn't waste the $12 on it. Maybe if you know someone with a big TV, you could wait for it to come out on DVD and split the $5 rental between ten people or so. Then it might be worth it.

I thought the only real comparison you could draw to The Big Lebowski is that the same guys directed it.

If you didn't know that going in, I don't think there's any way you'd compare the two.

I thought it was pretty lame, they tried so hard to only have "intelligent" comedy, the result was a movie with almost no punch lines.

While there were some good moments, in the end all the movie had to focus on was the same character quarks they had been repeating heavily for 2 hours.

Maybe I was just in too cynical of a mood, it seemed like the kind of movie that would be shit yourself funny if you were high... ;)

I thought it was pretty good. Brad Pitt was hilarious in this movie. Started slow, but overall not a bad movie.

i didn't like this movie at all. i usually find Brad Pitt and George Clooney funny in an intelligent way, i just didn't see this movie as clever.

and wtf was up with the first 30 min, totally pointless.
