Is there a website like Citybeat Calgary in Edmonton?Just curious as I want to find out what happened at the Clareview LRT last nite, 6 cruisers sped down to LRT platform, cops running around on the platform, HAWCs copter above shining spotlight then a few mins later, cops speed away drifting a corner in full pursuit :confused: :dunno:

Robbery near Clareview Station

Two teens have been charged with robbery and a weapon offence following a robbery near the Clareview LRT station.

At about 12:20 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 23, a 38-year-old male had just gotten off the LRT at Clareview station and was walking off the property when he was approached by a male asking for money. A second male approached the man from behind and demanded his wallet while allegedly brandishing a knife. The victim ran away and police were notified. A quick search of the area resulted in the arrest of the two suspects.

Michael Bernard Lanthier, 19, was charged with robbery, possession of an offensive weapon, and breach of recognizance (x2).

A 17-year-old male was charged with robbery.
