I'm trying to find a store in calgary that sells jigsaw puzzles with nice pictures on it with around 1500 and up pieces in it. Already tried toys r us and they don't have what i am looking for. Can anyone recommend a place? Thanks!

I haven't found many local places that carry a varied selection.

The girlfriend and I buy our puzzles from SoManyPuzzles.com (https://www.storesonlinepro.com/store/1945270/home). We love the Ravensburger 2000+ piece ones. Decent shipping for the weight. I ordered 2 5000 piece puzzles, and shipping was only $40, very reasonable for the weight!

That place in Chinook... can't recall the name (in between Sears and the ice cream store) but it's full of stuffed animals, board games and jig-saw puzzles (not just kid puzzles either, there's some big ones there)

I just finished this one.. took me a month.

- Same picture on both sides.
- Every piece (with the exception of the edges) is cut exactly the same.
- the picture is nothing but dalmations!

Yea, it was tough.

There's places that will make a puzzle for you with any picture you want. Most independent copy places. They even put pictures on plates, mugs, blankets, anything.

Does Dufferin Games still exist? They always had a good collection of puzzles and other assorted stuff.

^^^ yeah. It's right beside a knife place tucked away by a side door. When you reach the Purdy's, Flight Centre and some sports store, it's to the north. Tons of jigsaw puzzles, but I can't remember how many pieces to them. Worth a try.

try the toys section in zellers. I found quite a selection there, my recent one is the van gough painting of himself.

There's a store in Bankers Hall that sells toys and stuff. You can check there if you're downtown.

Agreed. Definitely try there.

I am surprised Toys R' Us didn't have it. My sister likes to do puzzles and that is where they usually are. Zellers has them as well.

If you are looking to do something complex, do those puzzles made of a photomosaic.

Great White Entertainment in Southcentre Mall sell puzzles. Though I'm not sure if they go up to 1500/2000 pieces... I bought one there as an x-mas gift last year, nice picture. I just can't remember how many pieces.

They do have puzzles that do upwards of 1500 I believe but the selection at Great White Entertainment was only so so that I found...it was towards Christmas at the time so I'm sure that didn't help.
