I'd be happy to build my own if I could get a pre-welded frame.

Wasn't this shown on top gear? You get it $5000 cheaper if you build it yourself.

I think the idea here is that the guy welded his own knockoff frame and everything, it looks 100% DIY.

Im pretty sure that was when they were doing the Caterham race. They had to build it themselves but its cheaper that way vs having Caterham build it for you.

does it have suspension!? or is it just a frame that looks like the atom welded together...for some reason i dont think it will perform quite the same
edit: okay i see some dampers and springs but again i think there is some tight engineering involved with the atom to get it to handle the way it does
