hey guys. while i was sleeping my LG 32inch Lcd just tunred on randomly. The tv wouldnt respond to any of the controls on the remote. it also wouldnt respond to my shaw pvr remote. It then turned off at about 3am and turned on again at 5am. It began to change the Tv inputs on its own. I have tried unplugging it and turning it on again. Nothing happens.

When it changes to the HDMI input, i can control my shaw box but no controls associated with the tv such as volume etc...

looked on google and there is some info about LG software upgrades as LG reported some bugs in their units. LG would have to send out a technician to do this. I was on hold for about 45mins with them with no reponse so ill try them tomorrow.

Any input is greatly appreciated!

have you had your home checked for ghosts:confused:
it is probably supa_dexta

i did find something useful though
[uote]this problem is with the inner small micro-swtches ,the side buttons inside are getting intermittantely short...changing of those switches will solve the prob. tc--[/quote]
so i am guessing a tech would need to fix it.
