Is there such a thing as a paintable vinyl or tape? I want to remove a front license plate holder and for the time being either use bumper plugs or if this paintable vinyl or tape exists do that. It's a temporary fix as I'll refinish my bumper after winter.

Thanks.

Since it's going to look like shit no matter what you do this side of a fill and re-spray, you might as well tape squares around the holes, use body filler and then spray with body color paint in a can.

hmmm that's also an option...thanks. I agree that my options are shitty, but anything is better than this stupid black holder on a white car.

I would buy plastic plugs for the holes, paint them body color (or surrounding color) and then pop em on.

I thank MB for providing bumper filler panels:

Does your make/model offer something like it?

Unfortunately no. This is for a Lexus IS250. I'm thinking I'll just go with the bumper plugs as it's quicker and easier.

Yeah if they offer them already painted, you're golden....
