Picked this up last week off of a beyonder, finally got around to cleaning it right up.

1. Meguirs car soap, hand wash and scrub at 8am... brr chilly.

2. Tafetta white touch up paint, hour of filling in rock chips and touching up 2 scratches

2. Meguirs smooth surface clay kit, took almost 3 hours of claying to get rid of all the contaminents that had built up, lots of little black and brown and orange spots all over the nice white paint.

3. Meguirs NXT Tech Wax 2.0, after the clay kit, also waxed the wheels, and shined the rubber with some stoner wheel dressing to top it off.

4. Shines nice now, possibly another coat of wax next weekend to prep for winter.

Before pics from last week: (still fairly clean as i washed it well when i picked it up)

Looks good buddy. I'm still expecting you to take me for a rip next time we're working at the same time. Not sure when that will be considering how little I work these days.

What was your process for using touch up paint? I have some and i have plenty of rock chips that could use filling up haha. Did you use clear on them after? I'm curious as all hell as to how you did it?

Touch up all the little chips once, let it dry, then just keep applying touch up to each rock chip untill it is almost the same thickness/level as the rest of the paint, so touch up, dry, touch up, dry, and so on.

Once they are right around the same level as the rest of the paint just let them dry completely, ive been touching up for a few days, here and there.

then clay bar the area of touchups, it usually will smooth out the spots a bit more, some people can then use clear but i just make sure to always put a few coats of wax over the touch up areas when ever i wax the car.

(i tend not to brush that touch up on as i find it makes a mess but dip the brush in the paint and let a slight drip form on the brush, then just touch it to the area, it will usually transfer the paint from the brush to the chip and tends to be alot cleaner looking that if you were to brush it on.

The 09's are gross looking (honeycomb grill on the 09's is rice, and im not a fan of the redesinged bumper).

+This was a good deal, based on current rates.

Did you go to the dealer to get the colour code for your car? I have no idea where to go to find and buy touch up paint.

yea i got it from the dealer.

7 bucks for a 14ml jar with brush.

color code is inside your drivers door jamp or on the vehicle info sticker, older vehicles you can probably find it a crappy tire.
