Got a little gig on the radio with my friend Tara singing... I know it's a little late (or early, lawl), but you early birds on beyond should give Q107 a listen around 830am! My first time on the radio so i'm pretty excited, I get to play my Gretsch on this Bob Dylan cover! If anyone happens to hear it let me know what you think =)

Thanks for the kind words everyone, and thanks for tuning in! I have the biggest buzz on right now... I know it wasn't glastonbury or anything but it's a start =) =)

Will post a link when Q107 gets the MP3 and pics on the website!

Thanks again!!

note to self, use an amp next time... playing elecoustic doesn't work that well... it faded in and out a little bit. but i'm still pretty stoked with the result.

yes we do... chances are if you know any oasis or radiohead, i can sing it or play it on drums/guitar/bass. I really REALLY NEED someone to play noels solo on champagne supernova while I play paul wellers... it sounds fucking ill

edit: double post quote fail

ppppps: if a mod wants to edit the title to include "MP3 link inside" that would be kinda nice.

fuck mondays. i work till 430 or 6 every day. school is proportional to marraige when it comes to time consumption hey? we will jam though, and learn that solo if you haven't already. i actually have no idea how good you are but must be dec if you own a supernova

do you want the live extended version or the album version? i'd have to give the album version a couple of times again as i've mostly only listened to a couple of live versions for the last while

live extended version is fine. the solo @ 4min from maine road or familiar to millions is perfect, i find its hard to hear his solo over paul wellers on the album version though.. does noel play it differently live than on the album?

yea the solo is usually more improvised, depending on the era it is extended, the longest versions are usually from the be here now era, lasting up to 9 minutes or so. i'll give them a listen, most are just pentatonic stuff in typical noel fashion, i think paul weller's part has a bit more to it, but shouldn't be a huge problem.
