Not sure repost or not ..

my friend in Van sent me this:

http://www.rentacarvancouver.com/_Nissan_GTR.html

And just talked to a friend in Van .. few GTR ARE sitting in their showroom/lots.

So, if someone is still waiting to buy the GTR, go there, give a try! :)

(Of course, they want more then MSRP.. )

Will they factor in the 20 second slower Nurburgring time into some sort of a pricing discount? Or maybe angle to get slicks thrown in for free so a 7:29 lap time can be achieved?

;)

I called the guy... $750/weekend with unlimited kms.

So this is either
1) A blatant scam. or,
2) A genius marketing scheme... for the cost of a $80,000 vehicle (partially covered by rental fees) he's the name of his company to every internet car forum in Canada, and countless email forwards between car nuts.

I hope it's (2)... and I'm seriously considering buying a plane ticket to Van for the weekend for some sick sushi and a date with the GTR :nut:

Yeah, but what's the deposit you have to leave? Probably insane.
