This is pretty much the face of the actual X1. Wow. Can't believe BMW used the same 7-series look.

Never understand why x1 is needed. Is someone complaining about x3 drive like a hummer?

Does BMW really need a four suv lineup??

it doesent really look different from any of the others.

this car is TOTALLY redundant... it doesnt even look that much smaller than the X3... it would be better if it was just a 2 door or something... atleast distinctive or something.

They're responding to the smaller chassis "crossover" market. I recall reading that they've scrapped plans for an SUV larger than the X5, and they're even scaling back X5 production. Sales have dropped with gas prices up.

I'm not too happy with the current BMW SUV offerings. An X2 and an X4 would be perfect additions to their lineup IMO. X1 is just too small.

LOL... there are no 2 series nor 4 series... therefore X1. Manufacturers are now in the "small vehicle race" as gasoline prices have increased significantly. Kind of funny.... SUV race.. compact race... what's next? Hybrid race!

edit: I know the hybrid race has already started... before I get pummled for that.

Wow, I can honestly say that that is one of the worst looking vehicles I have ever seen.

Good thing for bmw it's still just a concept. Looks like a bad attempt at an Infiniti.

I love the
"this is the worst looking vehicle i have ever seen" comments.

Im guessing if you search their usernames you would learn about many other vehicles that are the worst.

As mentioned above it looks identicle to a X3 only with some 7 series styling. I would have also liked to of seen a 2 door crossover. For some reason i seem to recall hearing or seeing something about that with BMW. Maybe not,:dunno:

The reason for this is because in North America, people don't like wagons like the 1 series in Europe. So they have to make it an SUV before people will buy it.

The 3 series wagon is a way better car than the X3. But guess what, the X3 sells to the crowd that doesn't want a wagon.

North America is so dumb.
