Golf or GTI??\

I know a GTI is a golf but it makes a huge difference. A 2001 Golf 2.0 with 50 000 km would be worth no more than $9000 right now.
My gf paid 21,000 for a 2001 GTI with 15,000 km on it and that was a good deal.

You want a good deal on a jetta, im selling my 1.8t wolfsburg jetta ;) haha.

When did your GF buy this GTI? For a few grand more you can get a 2007 with the same amount of kms.

I can get you a R32 brand new for a tad more than a new GTI :).

I'd sell you my GTI so I can get the R32, but the R32 is white, and I only drive black cars.

I thought the R32 was slower than the GTI in Calgary.

It is but the sound the R32 makes and AWD makes it worth it

HPA will fix that.

R32's have much more modding potential.

R32 is slightly faster than GTI in Calgary. At sea level it's a lot faster.

Wouldn't it be better to just get an Audi A3 2.0 quattro, and just chip it?

Sure, if you like the look of the A3.

Some people like the GTI's look over the A3's look.

haha no, I got offered one and turned it down. Might as well pass it to someone else if it's still available.

Dont worry about that, the us dealers are loaded with new, used and cpo r32s because they are not selling all that well being mainly a vw enthusiasts car.

STI's and EVO's aren't selling well either in the US due to the poor economy.

the r32 was always more of a niche car though because it was similar money to the sti and evo so people would jump on those two instead of the r32, that is why lower milage mkiv r32s are still going for mid twenties which is pretty nuts as they are already 5 years old now.
