I was just looking at the Apexi RSM. Is it worth it, or am I better off getting a G-Tech Competition, or one of the new Bell ones...
What would one expect to pay for a used one? (been looking on eBay)
Anyone that has it mind commenting? Do you really use it for more then looks? Anything else I should know?

I was thinking about one of these until i realized i would be spending $400 on something that adds nothing to the car performance wise. At least something like the Apexi SAFC has some optional meter readings and actually does something useful. I don’t think I would tune my car using G-tech or other meters like that. I would still rather take it to a real dyno.

I have a Blitz Power Meter, and I loved it... for about 3 weeks. Now it's just a novelty item. It does make a good conversation item though :).

And yes, you can use it to do tuning IF you got a wbo2 in the car too.

They are fun as heck at first and very interesting to mess with, but unless you have a damn fine reason for using one a lot (changing settings frequently, etc) and can get repeatable numbers out of them (harder than you think) they end up on a shelf in a few weeks.

I just made a deal on a used one with another WRX owner. We'll see how soon I get bored of it.
