The ring is pretty intimidating.. I think taking a week or so of driving school there would be definitely worthwhile, starting with a very forgiving, slow car. Driving a real supercar on the ring would border on insanity.

IIRC there's set times where you can drive up and give $x and drive it.

There are two circuits. One is open almost every day for public driving, the other one is mostly set events.

You drive up, park, buy some laps and then put the tickets in to drive each lap. It is really a great setup.

I went out for four laps, was probably there for two hours and I saw three pretty decent wrecks..

There is an expression.. "There are two kinds of drivers on the 'ring. Those who have crashed, and those that will crash."
