This car was purchased new in California (by me) and currently belongs to its second owner. The car has gone through all the necessary paperwork, etc. and is registered in Alberta.

Block heater? How's this thing run when it gets cold out? Handles deep snow well?

I'm not sure about the block heater, but I will check. I'm also reasonably sure that you can buy an aftermarket one if necessary.

The deepest snow that the truck has seen has been over several winters here, and it handles that really well. Back and forth to BC, the mountains, etc. have never been a problem at all. It is one of the very few vehicles out there with three locking differentials, so if you ever did get into some crazy situations, it should be able to handle them as well as anything else.

I've driven it in Tahoe through "chains only" passes several times, and it was no problem.. most vehicles could not make it without chains.

No block heater.. it has never been stored outside so I had to verify.

I did a quick search and found one at CDN tire though:
