First time I ever saw this.

I thought the attraction of a drive-through window is so that you don't have to get out of your car. :dunno:

Is this guy unclear on the concept or just being practical? The interface seems to be made for SUVs and is a bit high for cars.

I used to always laugh at others (my mom included) for leaning out the car window at drive-thru bank machines, but ever since I picked up a new set of wheels, I'm paranoid so as to not put curb rash on them, so I now pull up about 1-2 ft away from the curb and lean out slightly. My guess is perhaps he just didn't want to scratch his rims? Although my 1-2 ft is seemingly miles closer to the curb compared to this guy though.

At least he didn't go the other extreme and scrape his car up against the wall.

Every time I go through a drive through ATM I can't help but laugh at all of the scrape marks against it and think about all of the suburban house wives driving hulking SUV's that are more vehicle than they can ever handle.

Same here. I have a new car with nice rims, i have to lean out for these damn things. Such a PITA.

I think its one thing to lean out of your car, but to have enough room to have your door completely open to use it.... thats another.

Or you could park, walk inside, get your money out, then walk back outside :dunno:

This way, someone can't just knock you over, take your money, and make off in your car. Idiot.

Looks like the park assist feature doesn't help out in drive thrus.

I always have a chuckle when I see people do this in parkades. They open their window. Then they open their door and reach through the window. Then they step out altogether.

I've had to do that before because of the machine being set too far into the building and my car being too low. It sucks. It's annoying. There's a TD branch I ALWAYS have to do that with.

It could be, like a lot of drivers, this guy has no fucking clue how to judge where his vehicle is in relation to other objects.
