Looking for a new car, seeing as mine was involved in a serious accident tonight. Have about $6000ish to spend, looking for a RWD import. I know its pretty limited to 240s, AE86s, 300zx, rx7, Dont know what to get. Any advice is appreciated, or if anyone has any cars to sell.

sure hope you have 6000 cash in hand or "replacement cost insurance" cause you aint gettin 6 from your insurance company unfortunatly. But I would go with the 300z

while i like the cars you mentioned, and i'm sure you already know this, RWD isn't the greatest in winter...and god knows we have more than our share! but come summer it's a whole different story...point is that if this is your daily driver consider this fact too

n if u want one dirt cheap
id suggest lookin for an NA Z, w/ high ass kms and a worn out engine
so its cheap as shit, like, 7 or something if its got that many kms, its probly leaking oil too, which on either a VG30DE or VG30DETT means may as well replace motor, so u can get em cheap
and then for another 5500 swap in a fresh TT
:D:D:D:D

oops disregard my last 2 posts, didnt see the 6 grasnd limit, might b kinda hard gettin a good 32 for that much
Z31 u should b able to find a wicked one tho
but if u did get like, even 12 grand, do what i suggested, for 12 u hav a TT in good condition, jus pick out an NA w/ a nice body and ud b set

we decided to not go through insurance. So he is buying the car off me. If we do go through insurance, he looses his licence. So i have the upper hand here, and will be getting more than what my car is worth, otherwise he gets screwed with his insurance for the next 7 years.
I know RWD isnt the best in winter, but thats alright. Im prob gonna go with a cheaper AE86 for now, then save up a bit through winter, invest in some funds, then buy something nice in the spring/summer.

rx-7 all the way....times 3.

also look into an E30 M3, gorgeous car, awsome handling, and fast as hell.

see look, clearly everyone thinks that an E30 or rx-7 would be the best bet, so go with one of those.

Simple, get a 240SX and drop in the SR20DET when you have the $$$. AE86 is good too, very light and nimble but power potential is greater with the others, if that's what you're looking for...

pretty much all of those cars are gona take up a lot of your time and moneyjust to keep them running well. so make sure u budget for that...

me, i like the ae86 for obvious reasons :)

i could get one for around 6K or so. and then if we get one on the lot ill get an even bigger discount from my dad. and the 325 and such are still good, its not like because its not an M3 its not good.

ive been thinking about it, And decided to stick with another honda. Getting a 92 prelude inspected tomorrow. I really wanted to get a rwd, but after looking at all the factors, the preludes my choice.
