Very Clean interior, major selling feature for these cars,however there is a large number of minor exterior blemishes (scuffs, paint chips), 1 large chip, but no rust. I had TomcoPDR pull out all of the door dents in March of 2007. There is one new one, but other than that, it's clean. Tom did a great job, and i'm sure he could knock out this one new dent very quickly.

Mechanically sound - happy to have it inspected at your expense and my convenience. The engine is NOT rebuilt, yes people are going to ask. That said, the turbo's provide plenty of power, and there is no signes of a coolant seal failure. Again, totally willing to have the car inspected at your cost and my convenience.

Recently had all the brakes resurfaced, new pads, and various other little annoyances fixed at Option Import (Jim's shop - beyond sponsor).

I also replaced the water pump and radiator this summer with a brand new oem pump/housing/senor, and replaced the stock rad with a much upgraged all aluminum fluidyne rad. I also replaced all the large rad hoses and all the smaller coolant hoses that i could reach during this job (about 8 of the 16), the remaining hoses come with the car.

All of the standard reliability modifications have been done and installed for many years. Downpipe, aluminum AST, turbo timer.

There is also a very tastefull looking and sounding, stainless steel racing beat dual tip exhaust installed.


Extras : I have about 2500$ in body parts in my garage, side skirts, front lip, rear diffuser (all twill carbon fibre) and an fiberglass vented hood. All very tasteful. I'm willing to negotiate on these parts if the buyer is interested. I have half the remaining full coolant hose set, and other various parts that will come with the car, like a bra, some brake shims, a full set of silicon vacuum hoses for the engine.

Pm me your email. Sorry, i was away, last week. I would have liked to know what was said about my car before they got deleted. Some people know it from beyond, but more people know it from the meager rx-7 community in town, and i'm happy to discuss any criticism -- i've been honest about the car. The car has been well looked after.

Let me say -- the interior is very good. Probably an 8/10.

It's a 1993, but i'm pretty sure it had the plastics replaced under warantee with the 1994. There is no peeling whatsoever.

I recent paid good money for a brand new OEM shift knob, shift boot, and e-brake boot -- they look brand new, and a i swapped the steering wheel with a much less worn one from a low mile FD.

I also purchased brand new OEM style floor mats with a tastefully embroidered RX-7 Logo on them.

The seats are the base model carbon fibre looking cloth seats, with some mild wear on the driver seats bolster. They hold up much better than the OEM leather seats.

The only problem with the interior is the very common problem of the flip up pocket on the drivers side has broken and no longer flips.

I had been waiting a long while for a replacement CF lip, that finally arrived this week. The first one was chipped and the epoxy was bad so i gave it away to a beyond member and demanded a new one. It took 6 months, but it arrived and is a beautiful piece of CF work.

So i know have all the CF pieces.

It's still insured, btw, but i don't think it would get out of the cul-de-sac for a test drive :(

I've had a lot of low balls, i'm pretty firm on the price here. If you're legitimately serious, we can talk, but don't just go throwing numbers at me withtout seeing the car first.

If you're interested, i want you to come see the car, so we can go over it together and i can show you everthing, and if you're not super familiar with rotaries, give you a bit of a rundown on the pleasures and pains of ownership. Please don't just throw numbers at me hopeing to nickle me down later.

Hey man, a bit of a dumb question, but is the interior big enough to handle a guy my size? I'm 6'2 and 215lbs-ish. I'm really interested in the car but I'm worried it will be cramped for me.

Hey, I'm the same. When i bough the car i was 6'2, 235 and i drove it with relative comfort. Now i'm 6'2, and 200 lbs. I had to lose 25 lb's to justify installing a sub and an amp.

On a side note. I DID try to get into a RHD FD being my size, and i couldn't get my legs around the wheel. I think with the rear seats in the JDM ones, the seat rails are slightly shorter.
