The Cursed CSCC Auto-X iBook at Future Shop

I was looking at computers today.

Long story short.

Saw an Apple iBook for sale. The slideshow was activated. Everyone who has ever raced out at Auto-X this year was being portrayed to customers through-out this South Future Shop.

Needless to say -- I'm flattered. Seemed to get a few too many shots of Rage's SLK32 as well... oh well.

Hold off on buying an iBook.. the new powerbooks were just released this week so that will affect pricing, and they will likely do a speed bump really soon.

Cool. I'm sure you'll like it. Luckily the new ones are aluminum rather than titanium, so the wifi reception should be half decent. God I hate poor wifi reception.

Huh? I ordered the "Airport Extreme" card -- does the case reflect on how poorly this card operates?

All I want to do is be able to surf the Internet, while sipping on a Toffee Nut Latte in StarBucks! :D

Did you get the SuperDrive model with the backlit keyboard?

The new one is 1.25 GHZ, while the 17'' is 1.33. I find the 17'' way to big. I am going to be getting the new 15'' SuperDrive really soon, then get a dual G5 in about a year and a half or so....

12'' is too small, 17'' is too big, 15'' is just right :)
