They're simply evolved for that pressure. If we went there, then we'd get smushed. If you bring them up to the surface, they'll explode because their internal pressure doesn't change.

If you've ever seen cod being brought up in a net, and their eyeballs popping out of their heads, think that times 100 :)

THey definitely would. I was on a fishing trip last year in the Queen Charlottes, and we'd pull up some bottom fish from ~400ft, and they were totally puffed up and eyes bugging out when they got to surface, can't imagein 7500 ft!
