patterns and fitment. No modification is going to be required to your
vehicle in any way. Our kits are literally plug+play. Our kits are not the
cheapest kits out there however that is not our main goal. Our goal is to

There are many brands out there but I honestly believe that the Philips Kit is the best out there. Truly plug and play with no modification necessary. Back by their name and reputation, quality is second to none.

This price includes everything. We will be getting it shipped to the same address and one person will redistribute the kits when it gets here. Therefore Xenon depot will cover all shipping costs.

Philips 5000K $795
Philips 6000K $940

I don't care if you can get a different set of HID kits for a cheaper price. I am willing to pay extra for quality and craftsmanship.

It is like buying a aftermarket kit vs. a genuine OEM kit. Sure you will save money but it is common knowledge and most of the time the aftermarket stuff will not fit! So unless you have lots of time on your hand trying to modify the dam thing, I have one advice for you! Do it once and do it right!

With all that said, don't come on here saying these prices are high and people are getting ripped off! Back it up. Go find me a website that has prices on the PHILIPS kit that is cheaper than what I have listed, I will bet that you can not find it so please shut your mouth!

Thank you

I don't think so. If I am not wrong, your day time lights are used but when you switch over to your night time lights, that is where the HID kit shoots in!

You will also lose your high beams, possibly I know I didnt. when you upgrade from stock 55Watts to the xenon 35watts usage and 200watts output. it make up for the loss of the high beams. way easier to see at night, well atleast for the driver=)

maybe buy another set =) for the high beams. lol

Yah its going to be pretty tough. But I'll see how it goes, I'll be picking up a set regardless but it be nice to save a little bit of money on the group buy.

We are going for the 6000K kit boyz! No 5000K stuff!

Well I think we have 5 guys for sures so I told him to give me a price for 5. In order to save money on shipping I will get him to ship to just one address only.(I think that should save us some money?)

There should be no duties because of NAFTA
We have to pay GST and brokerage fees because of UPS

All in all, hopefully it will be worth it.

Philips is manufactured in the US? Then we shouldn't pay duties but I'm not sure! lol

Ok Lets do this guys!
Remember this is the 6000K Philips Kit, not the 5000K!! This is a sweet deal.

Dear Consumer,

Thank you for your choice. We actually have 2 types of bulb available with
these kits. The actual Philips bulbs, and the OSRAM bulbs. The difference in
the two is:

Philips: Eliminates a purple/white output
OSRAM: Eliminates a blue/white output

The choice is yours. As far as the 5 kits shipped to Canada, the price will
be $2425 (Shipped for free because of your large purchase). However, if you
choose to purchase insurance, you may need to add up to $100.00 extra.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.

Ok guys, the price of the kit in CDN including tax will be between $800-$830 depending on our crappy exchange rate. I'm not sure about duties and or brokerage fees since UPS will be the shipping company.

K dude
Is philips manufactured in the USA? I think so but I'm too lazy to research. If it is manufacturered there, then we should not have to pay any duties because of NAFTA. But brokerage charges on the other hand, shouldn't be much more.

I wish they would ship with FedEx, cause I remember, I went to go pick up my order, no taxes, no brokerage fees, no duties, NOTHING!

max_boost are you sure about nafta(north american free trade agreement)? i have not done any research on nafta so i don't know how it works. the reason i question this is because the intake i purchased was made in the states and i got charged duty. same with my brake pads. it has "made in usa" stamped on the box and i still got charged duty.

max_boost
08-22-2002, 12:16 AM

$485USD+Tax+Other fees+insurance?

Philips HID 6000K Kit

Pick your color

Philips: Eliminates a purple/white output
OSRAM: Eliminates a blue/white output

I will require $750 from everyone upfront. We will split the other charges when the package gets here.

I thought about possibly sending the package to a friend in the US and have them send it back to Canada as a gift. But if customs finds out they will seize the package. This is something that will save us money on tax, duties etc but is something that I don't feel like we should risk.

$2425US + $100US / 5 = $505US * 1.6 = ~$808cdn + duty if we have to pay it which i'm guessing atleast $80-$100.

i'm sure it doesn't cost $100US to insure a box with 5 hid kits. fuck. it didn't even cost that much to insure my rims. but insurance is a must with items this expensive...

You should not have to pay for duty! That is weird!
Maybe they charged you for something else?

According to a precise FTA schedule, all customs duties on goods originating in North America are gradually being eliminated. Therefore, by January 1, 1998, bilateral trade in North American goods will be duty-free.

Ok so we need $2525USD and that will include insurance of $100USD

So that is $505USD each up front

We will send a money order via Western Union

After the lights arrive we will split the costs on taxes/duty. The parts will be shipped to my restaurant because my parents are there 12 hours a day and chances are, they will not miss the shipment.

Lets try to buy the US dollar at a competitive rate so we can save as much money as possible

so, then make $$$ in cdn funds to Sam, and then he can go down and get the whole money order like he said? we have to figure something out here. sam's idea is the best. do it in one big LUMP SUM, and make it out to the company.

Ok
How about this
I'll take $800CDN deposit from everyone and I will go purchase the money order, send it out etc.

Post your application and pick your bulbs and lets set up a time so we can do this!

Fluidic Digital? Do you want to get cut? haha

Anyway, lets setup a time where we can meet and I can pick up the money. Or if we can't decide on a time, just PM and I can probably come to your house/work and pick up the money.

Lets get this done guys!
