Hey guys and gals;

Is anyone on here taking this route, with a bachelor of arts in psych?

I've been searching around the MRC site and I can't find really good detailed information regarding this.

Evey link I follow goes to the same general "Academic Advising" site

Just seeing if anyone knows how many psych courses you have to take in order to be able to Major in Psych.

Thanks for any help.

It is definitely going to be hard to get information for their new degrees, especially if no one even has one yet.

I am doing it through AU at the MRC campus though, that may or may not be what you're looking for..

AU @ MRC for me as well too.

For me, it's 20 courses in Psychology with 2 in Sciences, some Humanities, etc. I don't remember all the specifics.

In any case, MRC can no longer accept AU students since they now have their own University degree.

You can also download a PDF copy of their 2009-2010 School Calendar.

How far in are you?
I kind of regret not seeing an advisor sooner just cause I have one jr. spot left and all senior options.
I'm in my 3rd year and it sucks trying to get the psyc courses you need when it gets full so damn fast.

I am about 70% done.

I'm in a bit of a rush now that I have to fulfill my AU requirements. Other than that, my courses are evenly balanced.

Go see Anita Spence in EA if you are in the AU program, she'll plan it all out for you.

Yeah, I've seen her several times.. just not in the first year. I was naive haha

A rush? Why is that?

I wasn't in AU until this year, despite having taken courses @ MRC for the last 3 years.

Anyway, now that I'm in AU, the requirements dictate you need at least 10 AU courses so I am trying to complete the requirement.

Have any of you taken Theories of Personality - PSYC 2283 with Brian Young?, i'm thinking of taking it to fulfil my cluster requirement but not sure if he is a good prof or not.

yeah I've looked at his ratemyprofs rating, seems like an alright teacher, but those ratings are hard to go by because some guys say they are terrible and then others say hes great..
