LF: Computer Tech (Format, install windows on laptop)

Hello All,

Looking for someone in the NW (preferrably) to format, and install windows vista on a HP laptop.

Dont have any CD's, but I'm pretty sure the laptop didnt come with any, rather there is a partition on the laptop that I'm pretty sure had the software pre loaded.

In any case, if I have to purchase vista that can be arranged.

Would like to get this done asap - please let me know if this is something you can do!

if you know for sure you have a recovery partition just look up your model and brand name on how to reset it back to factory

or just reboot the computer and try to find the options of recoverying and go from there

its not that hard to do it yourself

i can do it, but like freakinprince said, it's easy to do yourself

look for a HP Recovery folder in your start menu and follow the directions

when you first turn it on...keep hitting F11 and it will take you to the recovery console

Before you do any of that, you should be able to go to

Start-->programs.-->HP section-->Create recovery disks

May want to make a DVD recovery set just in case something happens. The HP should have the recovery disk creator somewhere on the computer.
